I prefer the mechanical especially if it rains during a game.   I seem to be able to "pull" to its max when needed.  A double trigger will help you shoot a little faster but again it keeps it simple without using electronics.  Its more of a preference to me.

I say response trigger.  I don't personally have one yet, but I've used one on my friends A-5.  I just like to be able to fire fast without having to rely on electronics.

Well i fire a minimum of 2k a day somtimes as much as 3500 depending on how long the day /weekend is, and last year i played almost every weekend.... so thats a minimum of 8k a month fired bar winter id guess at around 75k fired and the last battery wasnt a Duracell just some cheap one to fire in my basement with.

So its safe to say on Ramp i fired atleast 35000 on one battery, compared to the Tippmann Egrip its very power efficient.

Just checked my reciepts ive purchased 144000 paintballs in 18 months man thats a hobby for ya

Egrip. More modes, simpler installation and very nice walkable trigger.

I have to say from my own personal experience nothing gets the evil chuckle going quite like an Egrip, very easy to operate no learning curve, and in Ramping its so easy to go to semi to auto to semi again

I prefer the RT, fires fast when you want and I can fire off single rounds when needed.  I prefer mechanics to electronics.  The RT works even better when coupled with the pencil/pen  trigger spring modification.

e-grip baby! unless you are playing NAVY seal doing a water insertion, the water threat to the grip is minimal and it is pretty well protected by the rubber grip (yes I know it is not sealed) and your hand.
Cheers!

After gassing it up and squeezing the trigger a few times a chill just ran up my spine and the vision of laying down covering fire as my team mates flank and secure our objective on Saturday brings a tear to my eye and paint to the enemy.

Gotta be E-trigger for me, ramping makes it so easy, but i dont have as much battery efficiency, ill get through bout 10,000 rounds and have to change the battery, it starts de-cocking after that many for some reason.

I love the E-trigger.  I only use it in semi mode, no ramping or auto for me.  L  love the ability to rip out tons of paint when needed

I have no experience with the RT, and my SWAT is currently equipped with the E-grip. I love it. I usually find myself laying cover fire for faster, more maneuvaerable team members and the E-grip does well by me.

The E-grip is superb. The aluminum build is definitely welcome, especially after I discovered the stock plastic grip will start to bend under heavy loads (20oz. and Assault barrel on gun was all it took). I should also note it performed fine in the rain.

Unfortunately the electronics aren't too advanced yet. The e-grip lacks external controls, some common shooting modes like three round burst are missing, and ROF is capped at 13bps... Nevertheless, a superior trigger to both the stock and response triggers.
