I'm speculating though. I'd prefer to play a few games with it before I start dismantling it. (That didn't stop me from taking apart the marker before using it for the first time though....)
I added a magnet and set screw above the trigger to stiffen it up. I found the stock pull to light, a bump on the buttplate would fire my marker!

My hands have gotten all dry and the skin cracks so the lighter pull (practically non-existent) is good for me. I'm not that crazy about using the other modes, but I would like a nice 3 round burst. If BT doesn't come out with a replacement board by the end of this winter you will see me getting an A5 APE board.

The only difference between the two is that you DO NOT need a firearms license if you are over 18, otherwise all other firearm laws apply, including "one trigger pull, one shot" which means that E-triggers are only for the speedballers who need a faster ROF with their semi mode.
It's pretty lame really, but NZ is not educated about paintball. A rumour went around a while ago that PB guns could undergo a slight mod and they could fire real ammunition

And I have to say, it was a very bad day for the rental-tippmann toting people I was playing with. Even my friend with his beefed-up Ion was literally out-gunned by my marker. (Experience-wise, we are both equal) I noticed too that on average, my paint usage didn't change because I used the same number of shots to eliminate players, only they were better placed. I also have an Apex barrel and saw no problems dealing paint at reasonably high speeds.
So i'm definitely all for the E-Grip. So simple to install, and such a mad upgrade. I had an evil smile on my face when I installed it, and if it weren't so damn cold today, you would have seen my evil smile again all day.
I do have a query though, is there a model of e-Grip that comes with just a strict semi-auto setting? Because my board only has four settings, Ramping 10bps and 13bps, and Auto 10bps and 13bps. Have I missed something?

Hi delxa,
Click on the instructions the below. If you look just above "BATTLE TEST" you will see a sentence
which tells you that if the (black plastic) jumper is removed then you get Semi-auto.

robertseakykr,
Do you have pictures and/or a hardware list of how to do this?

I am new to the E-Grip scene, but I plan on diving head first into it all. I have the BT-4 Assault, 20 ounce CO2 tank, now I am trying to get a great Hopper and E-Grip. I want to be able to dominate on the field, provide covering fire and scare the sh*t out of people. Like I said, I need an E-Grip and Hopper, any suggestions? Thanks very much

You want a BT E-Grip, just order the grip from them, and when you get it, remove the stock grip and trigger, then replace it using the E-Grip components and remember to use the screws supplied with the new E-Grip.
As for the hopper, buy a BT RipClip, and if you really want to go for a slimlined look then buy an X7 hopper with that as well.
Awesome setup
