Got a new style plunger in my team parts kit:

My old plunger was like so:

I gotta say, they may have gone a long way toward stopping warm-up/sticking. I've been running the new plunger for a bit and it's giving zero issues. It appears to be copper vs. the steel of the old one. A little different shape as well. Here's hoping it keeps up, but this has been the best my markers worked since new!

Sweet, is there a way to order the above part without buying the whole parts kit?
One shot, one thrill!!

Heh, I was talking with Kee Canada's tech about a different issue and he wasn't even aware they changed the plunger. You'll probably have to get them out of the US as he said that it's not a part they stock at the Canadaian warehouse. They only replace entire solenoid assemblies, apparently.

Robert, did you just get a single one in the Team Parts kit, or multiple ones?  I'm going to need 3 but there's no way I'm paying $300 for them :-)

drats, I had a feeling my rep wouldnt even know they were changed or not but hes pretty good at getting me individual parts when I need them so maybe if they dont have any itll just take some time. *crosses fingers* expecially since canadian dealers such as myself arent allowed to order from US warehouses :(

I had a solenoid sticking issue for the first time today, makes me want to get some of these even more now since i wanna put one in my own tm7 now!

Sorry bro, the kit only had two in it, I was hoping it would have more. The tech I was talking to was going to see if he could get a shipment, but wasn't sure. You could call Kee CS and see if they'll sell them separately. I can give you the part number from the box. It's 17668.

That is awesome news. Now if they could only implement Robert's idea for a low-force bolt, I'd re-consider buying another TM-7 or a TM-15 (or both!)

Seriously, if BT can make the TM series reliable and easy on paint they'll boost their sales for sure.

So this seems to solve the solenoid problems, huh? Mine's still sticking. I'm going to try and call them first thing Monday. So do you still need the little "ring"? I'm assuming that the new solenoid also still needs all the other parts seen in the second pic, only not the steel solenoid, or am I wrong?

Just the plunger is different, all the rest is unchanged, so you only need the new plunger. Try calling them and telling them you need to refill a bin in a "tm-7/tm-15 team parts kit". Part number "17668 solenoid piston".
This is the newer team parts kit, the old was just labeled  "tm7 team parts kit".

After so many horror stories, I was holding off but this might actually be the green light for getting a TM7! Keep us posted, really interested in hearing how this widget really performs.

Has that actually been an issue for anyone?  Personally any 'noid issues I've had have always been on startup of the marker after cleaning or it being sat around for weeks without being turned on.

Definitely going to call in to see if they'll sell the new plungers separately but won't have time until Wednesday.  If anyone speaks to them before that, please post what you find out.

I called KAS this am, and if you are not a dealer, they will not sell the part to you. They suggest you find a local dealer and have them order it for you. She looked me up and was surprised to find the nearest dealer over 40 mi. I explained that they won't do special orders for stuff like this, and she suggested I try Bosspaintballproducts.com

I called the number when I didn't find anything online. He looked up the part, saw he didn't have it on the site, found it in the parts kit, and then proceeded to add it to the site under:
PART 24A SOLENOID PISTON

Price: $11.00

Here's the link, just scroll down past the schematic to part 24A.
