I know your saying, What?
I am taking the modification thing kind of slow.
I knew the whole clockwise/counterlockwise thing was going to be forgotten when I stepped up to the chrono station.

So while I was staring down the hole getting familiar with the FPS wheel. I came up with this mod. I got out my Sharpie and put a plus and a minus sign on either side of the wheel.

I'm thinking BT needs to make these marks like the trigger switch, or the battery cover.

Usually the simplest mods are the best ones! Great idea. Agreed Empire BT should add these marks to the casting like the fire modes.

Actually wouldn't be a bad idea on all the markers. When you chrono at Skirmish, perhaps 10% of the refs actually know what direction does what, even on the rental markers.

LOL, some of the Skirmish ref's don't even know where the velocity adjustment screw is, even on a Tippmann A5!!  Last year I ended up stood in an increasingly long line, waiting for the one Ref that was there to chrono everyone.  He was looking with some confusion at someone's A5, trying to work out how to adjust the velocity, so I went up and showed him.  I then chrono'd myself and my wife's TM's, grabbed some of the cable ties and went off to play.  There was no way I was waiting for him to get done.

Great job! Gonna take it one step further and carve them into the body.  In case the marker/sharpie rubs off.

Loved the idea so much that once i read it, i got my TM7 and my sharpie and got with the program!

Also when i first go the gun i when to the crono and forgot which way was what and it took me a good 5-10 mins to finally get the fps correct. That time could have been spend putting my paint to good use!!

This is why I still own my handheld chrono, and I shaved a small mark into the TM7 rear bolt, so that way I know how it aligns to have it at the correct FPS every time after full disassembly. I've had that marked into the gun for the last... 3 years now? Carving it in is the best way, so nothing disappears / washes off.
