Attached File  gun12.JPG   588.67K   205 downloadsSo I did the spring mod on the flasc double trigger that has been beat to death on this forum. And I have to admit. It's awesome! But I wanted to do one better. I went the mini rout, and did the magnet mod. Now, I was fortunate enough to have the magnet from the flasc trigger that I had to replace when I got the ape board. I placed that on the screw that your spring would be mounted to for the spring mod. I then took a larger rare earth magnet, and placed it against the 4 little prongs that hold your original trigger "spring." I glued the magnet in place, and that was it. The return is virtually frictionless. It allows for a much better feel of the trigger. It honestly feels like any high end speedball gun. Just an alternative for people that want to get a little more from their gun, but want to keep it like a mini. I'll get some pictures up as soon as I can.

ok, so I posted a picture that shows the 2 magnets. It works perfectly, no friction, and no worrying about a spring coming loose. For as well as this fits, and good of a job this mod does, It makes it hard to believe that it wasn't done this way originally. The trigger is so sensative if you hit the back of the gun hard enough, the trigger will fire. You can obviously change that if you don't like it sensative. Let me know what you guys think!

Did you cut the stock return spring or bend it around the pin so it doesn't interfere with magnet?

I took it completely out. There is absolutely no use for it any more.

Except the trigger return spring also provides the detent clicks for the selector shaft and arm. Without that spring there is no way to positively lock the selector arm in any position.......including "safe". It needs to be there.

for safety you defiantly need to leave that in, the tm7 selector is loose enough as it is, with nothing to help hold it in place it will jump all over the place

Good point. I've now got it back in, curled around, and cut off, like you would with the spring mod. :-)

I might give this a try soon, I just got my flasc double trigger and used it for the first time this weekend and found that it needs a little work to fire faster

Sounds like you have the spring in the wrong way.

Have you fixed it yet? Can you post a pic to see how you put it in?

Its a basic design so I would not be worried.
