Hey guys, I'm pretty new to the TM7 picked one up after trying my team captains and I love it but I'm having a small issue.

Between games I usually take my gun off the sling and  disconnect my remote line, when reconnecting the remote line it fires the ball in the chamber even if the marker is turned off.

Anyone ever experience this, my captain has 2 of them and his one does this too but not all the time.

You need to air it up slowly, I assume you have a slide check installed?  If so, just slowly push it until it's engaged, that should stop the sudden air pressure that sneaks through the solenoid and fires a ball.

ah so thats the issue, unfortunately I'm running a pro connect so there isn't really an option for airing it up to slowly.  My concern was maybe I had to fix something internally, but if this is the case I'll just try and remember to clear my breach between games. I'm just sick of having to clean my barrel condom because of this.

Thanks

I have actually experienced that same thing with my TM15 too so it's good that I know why it does it now.

The general consensus was to wait until you were on the field ready to play before airing up the marker to avoid having to clean your barrel bag and barrel. Not all of them do this for some reason. One of the many things I keep meaning to look into. Does anyone know if the bolt moves when this happens or is it just air? I am sure it is either the poppit face or noid plunger that is not fully seated on initial air up. I vote noid plunger....

I think it only happens if the marker is on.  I will do some testing this afternoon when we play.

Same thing happened to me with a Proconnect.  No big deal, I just plugged in on the field the ball only went about 5-10 feet.

Does this only happen with TMs, or does this also happen to Delta Elites or those with an egrip?

Mine sometimes happens when its not on too, but like you said its not a lot of pressure I think I've only bronken 3 out of 20+ balls into my barrel bag

Yeah one of my TM7's will do it when it is not on. Of course when trying it last night I couldn't get it to do it. I am more curious if the bolt moves when it happens.

My TM-15 Does this as well. APE Board, Boss Bolt & Spring. It does not seem to matter if the Marker is on or not. If I use the slide check to re-air the marker it discharges a ball that goes about 5 feet. Any other air up does not do it, just sudden full pressure. And like others I just wait till I hear the "Barrel sleeves off" command before airing.
