On the bt deltas top there's a plastic piece that is modeled after the mp5 sight can you mount a scope on it? Like is it strong enough? Or will it break?

I always found that you needed to use a clawmount rail to mount a site effectively to the delta

Yeah you need a claw mount, or remove the top rail and use the picatiny rail underneath.

Not sure I follow you. How do you want to mount the scope/sight?

Do you mean the round one near the end of the barrel or he elevation sight near the stock?

I've never seen the front one broken but I've seen the rear one lose it's screw and fall off

That's because Jazgeek plays way too hard with his BT's! LOL!   I still have my front and rear sights for the Delta and mine is from 2008.  I do drop markers at times, too many to count for my taste. It's up to you.  You can remove the entire MP5 rail on top and use the picatinny rail on top or, if you want, cut the area out of the MP5 rail to fit just the sight and slide it back on...

I'm from PA (Only 20 minutes away from Skirmish, 1 hour 15 min from EMR, and 7 minutes from Paintball Asylum).  I will be with Jez for Stalingrad and I'll see how our team goes for ION.  I am saddened that SE won't be there - my buddy...

BTW here's my BT-4 with Delta Top Rail AND Claw mount with sight.

yes Ion is a once a year thing, however check your local fields they will all have various "big games" throughout the year to tide you over until the next ION.  I usually play 4-5 big games a year (local mostly or semi local) this year I may branch out a little farther... Living legends looks quite cool, ION looks like a target rich environment.  We have a bunch of cool ones up our way here like Day of the Dead, Wasaga's big game, Wolf and Techpb will be battling it out this year at Carnage, operaiton Red Dawn is coming up in a months time.....
