So I have been watching video after video and reading all kinds of forums about the bt delta and mods and polishing the internals... Well my question today is are after market internals like the zero kick hammer legit? I mean is there any after market internals that are worth the money? And what about aftermarket asa's? I want my gun to be smooth operating and reliable I really don't care about bps just want as little choping and as much smooth fireing as possible any tips?

Polishing the internals is pretty much the only thing that you need to do. All the other internals like the tech T bolt are just gimmicky. Some of the internal upgrades that you might see for some speedball guns are legit but with the BT combat/delta internals just keep it stock and you'll be kickin butt and takin names.

Okay I kind of figured they were gimmicks because bt and tippmann speed a lot of money on development I would assume

I ended up getting rid of my zero kick hammer as it just didn't work for me.  Marker stopped cycling as it was supposed, etc.  Bottom line, as you will see over and over since I can tell you have been reading many of the older posts, leave the internals alone except to polish them.  I still have a Tippman 98 that is in the shop, going on 2 years now, once the response trigger stopped working as it was supposed to.  It all coincided with the internals upgrades...but when back to stock, no dice.  Now, that was the marker I originally had the zero kick hammer in as well as a TechT fang trigger (love that thing, but it is probably the final culprit to why we haven't found a solution to the firing problem).  So, if you want to spend the money, go ahead.  But, I'd look at other upgrades first: good mask, electronic hopper, aftermarket barrels, before even thinking about messing with this stuff.  I have other markers to play with, so I haven't missed it too much.  But if it's your only one...

I am a firm believer in the statement that there is no such thing as a dumb question. Only the one you don't ask.

I think it's pretty safe to say that every member of this forum at one time or another has been new to the sport, myself included, and asked questions. That is the greatest thing about this site. Everyone here is always willing to lend a hand to someone with a question. Keep 'em coming brother.

Well what about the rap4 metal power tube? Is that okay to get or is the stock plastic power tube okay? I think I'd rather a metal one but I don't know

If you are going to be running HPA you will never need an aluminum power tube. Even on CO2 you will not likely have a problem especially if you are running a remote line. The only BT power tubes I have seen crack were older first gen ones, running CO2, tank on gun, and had liquid CO2 run through the marker.

Take the money you would spend on upgrading the internals and use it for entry and extra paint. That will put a smile on your face for sure!
