A temporary video till I can get it edited, but I did a quick howto on dremeling/ drilling out the ASA ports for those unsure of how to do it properly.

Hope it helps some one,

Note it's over 9 minutes long. A good youtube downloader is a good idea, as more how to videos will be posted shortly.

I use DownloadHelper Add-On for FireFox.
It can download youtube videos and other videos.

Well I just finished reporting my ASA. Not sure if I did it right, but I gave it a shot. I might have touched the threads once or twice. O well, the Lord hates a coward. Does BT sell replacement ASA'a..hehehe. I don't have a tank at the moment, so I can't try it out yet. Actually, I have never fired a shot through my ERC yet, so I may have screwed it up before even getting to use it. Top that!! Great info though. I can always count on the best here. Thanks.

Thanks SOG. I have to wait to try it, till I get a tank. Maybe this weekend. Do you know if Bt makes a replacement ASA. Also, will any ASA work. I really don't care if it bolts to the bottom of my grip. I would probably prefer it to just hand anyway. If there weren't any bolt holes in the ASA, I'm sure they would have put the hole closer to the center. What do you think?

Ive used many after market Asa's over the years and as i dont secure the asa to the grip screw holes and such dont matter to me...............most pb stores will sell asa's if u do indeed need a new one which i hope u dont just take yours in and compare

Thanks SOG. I noticed a picture of you, without your ASA attached, so I didn't think it was a big deal. I let you know how it turned out, but with my luck, I'll be replacing it..hehehe. Cheers bro.

Yeah...I didn't get the threads that bad, so I should be fine. Nothing a little teflon tape can't fix...Cheers,

Borrowed a pencil grinder bit from work today(all i have for my dremel are those rubber/stone/whatever it is bits). threw it in my dremel and away I went. Easy mod, wish I had done it sooner.

Are you talking about the teflon tape for the threads?

If so  can get it at almost any store that sell hardware supplies.....

Its a common tape....Just ask for it......
