It means your gun wont have enough air, to cycle completely when firing very quickly, making it de-cock. So the bigger hole lets more air through and therefore no "starvation".

All I have is the standard drill bits, (will they do?).. and what i believe is the correct tape?? (pics below.. think it maybe for plumbing


Any info on this is much appreciated..cause i haven't a clue what I'm really doing here

I was very aware of the screw holes running through the centre of the ASA, my two major fears were drilling too much and making a hole just at those areas, and seriously catching the threads (which i did but only slightly touched them).
For people wanting to do this mod, I'd suggest clamping it down somehow.. it's a slippery little sod in a vice.
