I just got off of the MSN messenger with Tek and he asked me to let you all know what happened and what he is going thru.

He severed the tendons in his right ring finger and almost completely cut through the nerves. He had some micro surgery done and the prognosis is good, but it is going to be a long haul getting back to normal, at least 6 weeks in order to get back to normal. He can not use his right hand at all, at the moment. As all of you know, it is almost impossible to type without your right hand. Yeah, you can, but it usually means misspelled words. All of us need to keep Tek in our thoughts and prayers. He is a very valuable person to all of us and we need him here, taking care of this forum.

Too make matters worse, on Friday night, his wife had an allergic reaction to something that almost took her life! She was admitted to the hospital, but he assured me that she was OK now! All of us need to keep her in our thoughts and prayers, as well.

Tek and his family have had a rough week. As we all know, things like this usually make us all stronger and closer to those that matter to us most.

So, until further notice, contact Tomcat if you have any forum issues. If I can help, I will. All of the moderators/admins will be glad to answer any questions that you may have. It is times like these that make us a family.

Thanks Icehouse.  Yes our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.  He will be back soon as he can.  There are more things happening in 2010 (good things) so please keep him in mind.
