I could be wrong but im pretty sure paint for stores like walmart and canadian tire etc, is designed that way on purpose, thicker harder shell so it can be stored for month or years on end and warehoused and distributed to the big bulk stores that wont sell it nearly as fast as a proshop, so the paint has to be able to last on the shelf and in the warehouse longer or itll go bad, solution, thicker stronger harder shell... maybe one day if hydroteck ever gets paint selling they can replace the bulk stores paint with a decent paint that still has a shelf life.. (tho I dont see it happen.. from what I hear they want to do field only paint for a while before they even start selling normal
