I am just wondering if the apex barrel system will fit the bt delta's barrel shroud?

An APEX barrel from a delta elite will fit perfectly. The Apex barrel BT sells will fit as well but I believe it is a bit longer. Most aftermarket APEX barrels will require modification to the shroud to fit unless you buy the FLASC paintball barrel with APEX adapter.

Also, just an FYI... That shroud you have on the picture with the tac-light will not fit with a standard length or Delta Elite apex system. You would need at least a 12", if not longer for the apex to clear the tac-light.

Stock apex will not fit as its too short for the shroud, its 1" shorter I beleive then the DE apex

Sorry my bad, Dave is right the stock apex barrel is shorter not longer and will not work.

Here's a direct comparison of the DE APEX and std APEX barrels.  Dave was close...1.5" longer is the DE APEX barrel. LOL!!!  We'll give that to Dave since it was off the top of his head!

thanks for all the replies i might just have to buy the apex tip and  then buy a longer barrel.
What barrels will the apex tip fit on?  and whats the best length (also my delta doesnt have a flashlight at the front its just the standard barrel)

Yeah the 9" FLASC barrel works beautifully in both the DE and standard Delta shroud.

That's a blaster and 4-prong tip, but you get the idea.

How does the 9" look with the Tactical grip/light setup as shown in the silhouette?

I never had that shroud (limits apex usage) but when you unscrew the tip, it would be almost identical to the length of barrel exposed in that silhouette. I'll try to take some pics of the shroud with a flashlight on the tac rail and the tip unscrewed tonight to give you an idea.

What is the shroud in the pic by mogrove42 on the top? With the rails? And I know there's a forum on making a shroud with the flashlight shroud but I can't find it can someone post a link?

I believe that would be the 1913 barrel system with an apex instead of the front cooler.
