Yeah, I've been looking around and I've noticed people have black air hoses on their BT4's like the one in the pic below.

And I'm just wondering, is that just black tape or a whole new hose.

Hockey tape or electrical tape will work just fine, electrical tape is easier to clean but has a little more gloss to it so it's a matter of which you prefer. I have also heard of guys using shrink tubing to achieve that look but have no idea how easy it would be to install.

Tippmann hoses are stock black. But I am pretty sure they are just shrink tubed at the factory.

I use regular old black, or camo duck tape. They work very well and keeps the shine down. Some people buy actual tubing for their guns and i think it just goes over the regular silver braided hose.

Yep, pretty much anything will work as long as its black. Whether its black duck tape, hockey tape, electrical tape, a macro line, different hose, etc, it all works.

heat shrink tubing is very easy to do, and looks alot more professional than tape, just take the line off, slide some heat shrink over it, cut slightly longer than needed, then take a lighter, oven hob or what ever heat you have to hand to it, and it will shrink to the correct size and look very professional.

I currently hae some good ole hockey tape on mine, but I wouldnt mind doing this heat shrink tube method on it. Just where would I get the heat shrink tubing?

Home Depot maybe?

Just about any electronics supply store should have the heat shrink tubing to include Radio Shack. I believe I have also seen it at Lowes and Home Depot down the aisle with the electrical wire, networking equipment, and such.
