Though I am not completely new to the sport it is my understanding that adjustment of trigger sensitivity is common knowledge. Having bought an E-grip for my BT-4 Delta I am curious as to how the sensitivity could be lowered?
This may belong under another section, but as of now my knowledge of paintball markers is little to none.

The idea of the e-trigger is so that you can walk the trigger on semi and have such modes like psp and nxl full auto. It's meant to be a sensitive trigger but you can adjust it to your liking. Best bet would be to read the manual or check some youtube vids.

There is no factory adjustment for the trigger sensitivity and the only return spring is the one in the micro switch. That is why the e-grips don't "walk" very well even though they are so sensitive. Not enough return spring. It is a very common complaint when switching to a e-grip equipped BT-4.

I do remember someone had managed to fit a spring in between the trigger and the grip frame but it was a while ago and can't seem to find it now.

The only reason I really put the Egrip on my marker was to make a sensitive trigger pull as opposed to the mech trigger. Id assume what you could do to make it more "sensitive" and not so easy to pull the trigger resulting in a shot, would be to adjust the trigger screw so the trigger has to be pulled in more to make contact with the solenoid.

The problem with that is the micro switch is the return spring. So if you adjust the trigger screw out it will lose contact with the micro switch and have no tension. The trigger would just flop around in the grip and fall back against micro switch anyway. It would have the same return tension or "sensitivity" as before just activate closer to the grip frame or not at all if you went too far on the adjustment.

So what you're saying is that there really is no real way to adjust the e trigger when it comes to sensitivity.  I was going to try to adjust my son's on his ERC.  That trigger is really touchy.  I wanted to give him a little longer trigger pull, so it doesn't just go off on him if he just brushes it with his finger.

Thank you for your timely response and insight. Though the truth is disappointing.

I just added a small spring behind the Trigger that "pushes" it away from the microswitch.
Very easy to do

Sometimes it can be I guess.

Someone else had done that as well and claimed it helped considerably. If you could post a pic that would be great!

So i'm trying to walk the trigger on a grip that makes it harder? Ok, now i'm interested in that spring-mod.

I would go the magnet route myself as well personally.

I don't seem to find any magnets small enough to fit behind the trigger. Oh well, time to cut one up, although i don't expect I will get away with it easy

Finished the mod. The over-sensitivity is gone, but my ability to walk the trigger is way worse now (didn't though that was possible). Not that it matters, I sucked at it to begin with. Well, at least I can brag against my buddy about it, cuz he always complains about the sensitivity of his grip (Shoots himself in the foot ALOT) xD
