I just finished installing the Relay. When I aired it up, it pressurized, but I can feel air leaking out the front of the Relay - just a fine steady stream, but not enough to keep the Reg from airing up. I was able to fire several shots as well with the eyes off, but the air continued to leak as long as the relay was "on".
I had to wait until I had the 9mm Allen, and I finally had the time today after picking it up Thurday afternoon. I tightened the 1/8 set screw on the adapter, then the brass (9mm) bolt down as tight as it would go. Of course I also tightened the long 1/16 set screw. I then added some blue loctite to the large brass screw and screwed it into the air transfer tube. I rotated it back around to face forward - nearly 3/4 of a full turn, then tightened the short set screws in place.
This is my second relay. I had the same problem with the first one - but when disassembling it, I forgot about the short set screws and stripped the heck out of the inner brass bolt. I then returned it and KAS was kind enough to send me a new one. I then had the upmost care with this one. I watched English's video at least 3-4 times, before attempting the install tonight. Anything else I can do to make this work - without having to order the newer air transfer tube. I already paid $23 for the 9mm socket allen - only one I could get locally (It's a Snap-on.). I would hate to have to get the other air transfer tube.
Suggestions?

When I first installed my relay on my TM7 when I first aired it up it leaked out the lever area for 2-3 seconds and then stopped. It would do this every time I aired it up for about half way through the first day I used it and then stopped and never returned. I just removed it from my olive TM7 and installed it on my Terrapat TM7 and still no leaks at all. May be they need to break in? Of course if it is leaking from the transfer tube connection this doesn't help at all. Just thought I would share my experience.

I paid something similar for a new hex set from Lowes that had the required sized key to get that thing installed. Turned out to be wasted for me too as I damaged the thing and ended up having to buy a new transfer tube anyway. The newer style air transfer tube sounds like the way to go for you too.
Unfortunately I can't suggest anything else because after my TM-7 issues I ended up installing the Relay on my TM-15 (which works fine) but then realized that because I mostly run with a remote line, having the relay is a real pain as you need to find a way to keep the on/off in the on position (used a rubber band to prevent accidental turning off). Basically I decided to leave my TM-7 alone and leave it stock (although I put my newer TM-15 Regulator on it ... the serial numbers will confuse Kee if I ever send it in :-)).
