Hey guys, im baaack Its about 12:47am.. and im chillin listening to some bob marley, relaxin back, happy good friday and easter to everyone who celebrates too eh ?

To the topic at hand, I was searchin through kijiji, (an ebay for canadians i think) and I found a BT delta elite, for 175$! except.. its a tad different, look at this pic eh?

yeah thats right, it has a flatty on it, you see it, you see it.. but my only question at this point is.. "what in the heck is a flatty doing on a bt product?" i know BT and tippmann are related somehow.. i just found it really strange to have a flatline on it, but it also can be a good thing it is in good shape, i have contacted the owner about it, says it works good and he has had no serious offers on it. I'm going to ask my dad to see if he will buy it, but it will be rare, because my dad is a type of guy that makes me work for my stuff.. i had to pay for my ps3 picking strawberrys last summer. I'm not saying he's hardass, he just wants me to work for my stuff, and i just don't want this offer to be up before my job starts D: But im hoping it works out!! and What do you guys think of it? is it rare to see a flatty on a BT? is the flatty any good?  would it be a good investment? Thanks if you get back on it guys !! you guys haven't let me down yet, and i know you won't now! but i think this gun looks sick!

Looks like you might get both for the price of one.  If they are in good shape, that's a good deal.  Looks like the Gen1 Delta too - removable magazine, metal.  Also, Egrip is metal and won't have the 3 safety shots.  These are things folks are after now since the newer versions are very different.  Regarding the Flatline, I think he was going for a specific look.  Also, curious what happened to the Delta shroud?  You may want that if you are going to go with the delta look - course you could always pick up a rail and get the same look.  My 2 cents.

I am not really sure why the owner put a flatline on it when it comes with an apex tip. That being said is he throwing in all the stuff that came with the elite like the top rail cover and the original shroud with the apex tip. If he is then it sounds like a good buy then.

Looks like a nice setup.  Having a flatline does give it a different look.  I never really cared for the flatline myself.  My brother inlaw had one, and when you have a break they were kind of a pain to clean.  Check, and see if he has the original stuff that came with it.  Even if he doesn't I think you're good.

Looks like a good deal, you can always sell the flatline. You should ask where the stock shroud is though.

Welcome to the forum, good to see another Haligonian. Did you get out to black Friday yesterday?

Yea check him out on the stock shroud as that would be hard to come by unless you bought the upgrade kit, however this is a gen 1 DE and very much sought after.

thanks but you missed me by about an hour, im a valley boy and yes im really considering on getting it, if he doesnt sell it he said hes going to hang on to it, so he can repost the ad over the summer, which by then i will have my job. I've made a "financial" plan i guess you can say for gear. and i will be posting that up.
