I just finger the tongue too, but I usually just end up with crap on my finger and the tongue still has gunk on it.

I have also tried twisting up a soft cloth and using that on my finger. It tends to work well.

I keep some alcohol swabs with me specifically for the apex 1 & 2. I usually start with my microfiber cloth to clean off the tongue (often fingering it before just to see if I need to clean it). then I use the swabs to clean it off and help it get it rotation mojo back - some of those ball leave it slimy, even when wipes clean.

All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost...

Take the barrel off and squeegee it from the thread end. When you have it off if you swing the barrel really hard some paint will come out as well. That for during the game. When I get back to my stuff I usually just pour water through it. Feyd..............
