I know there are a few gamers on here so I thought I would start a little topic about the new game Battlefield 3. The first thing that I have to say is this game looks fantastic. From the destructable environments to the bullets that chip away cover. This game has everything. The second thing I have to say is flying a chopper is obscenely hard. I have flown my chopper sideways into the ground so many times it defies logic.

I preordered it on PC and picked it up yesterday. I normally jump towards multiplayer but I was intrigued to try the singleplayer and it has a very interesting story to it. Its almost like playing a story out of a book (story was helped by a former SAS operator) rather than an action packed movie ala CoD. And I think that's one thing that brought reviews marks down since the singleplayer didn't really give any moments like you'd see in CoD (like a Hollywood scenario). Either way, story was interesting almost giving it a realistic approach trying to get in his shoes and liked it very much. Now that's done I'm ready to hit the online Battlefield. I've been itching to get on it since the beta (had bugs but had lots of fun).
