Alright, I'm thinkin' about getting either an SA-17 or a Trracer. My question is, could I use a FLASC 2.5" micro barrel with 5" extension and deluxe Apex adapter with Apex2 and not have any fitting problems, or is there a better way to fit FLASC barrels into an SA-17

What you posted would work. I have used the Flasc micro bore kit on both my SA17 and my Trracer. With the Sa17 the Barrel does not screw into the breech like the Trracer, it threads in, in front of the stock barrel insert at the front of the gun. SO if you are looking to get the Apex2 as close to the front of the gun just thread the Apex2 adapter right onto the micro bore back. Make sure to use a back that is larger than the stock insert in the SA17. Although I have run a much smaller front than back and had no problems. This surprised both Dave and myself....
