Okay so if there's already a topic on this but I didn't see one that had my questions. Okay so what type of tank is better and easier to get filled a co2 tank or compressed air? I'll be geting a bt delta so what one is better? Also what brand of tank and size tank do you recommend? Last one what remote line is the best? Please post link if possible thanks everyone.

multiple questions and multiple answers on this one.

C02 - pro's

inexpensive tank would be a c02 tank.  Smaller, arguably lighter and most fields can fill it.

C02 - cons

sensitive to temperature, does not have same consistancy as compressed air

compressed air - pro's

consistant, easy to fill - more common for a field to have air than c02

con's

a bit more expensive, could be slightly heavier depending on tank purchased

remote line - I use a ninja remote line... easy to find at most local paintball stores both brick and mortar and online

I have used a petrol remote line before.

A lot of people swear by the proconnect quickchanges but I find a regular slide check is fine.

Now, you haven't mentioned what marker you are planning on using, but if it's a tm series marker it can only use compressed air, not C02

Well actually I did I'm voting to use a bt delta this year. I had a tippmann but I didn't like it no offence to tippmann lovers I just didn't care for it. I used a ninja compressed air tank but I can't get it filled any where. I never used a remote like but I'm going to this year thanks for your reply :) any other suggestions?

All the local fill place that fills like torch tanks said they don't have the equipment? But they said they could fill the co2? Lol doesn't make much sense to me.

So I take it you guys are just playing outlaw bushball in the woods somewhere then cause most fields will fill HPA tanks.

The field will fill it yes but it's an hour away it's too much to run out there every time it' needs filling. And the local torch place said they can't fill it.

likely because a co2 fill station is much easier and cheaper then a HPA fill station.

for outlaw ball co2 is generally a better bet, theyre cheaper, so you can get more for the same price, and they are much more efficient then HPA so they will last longer before needing to be refilled

CO2 is more of a safety risk than the Compressed air as well.  You can get burned if a burst disk blows and it is near exposed skin. You have to constantly chrono C02 due to temperature changes.

What ya need is a scuba tank and make some donations to your local fire company. They can fill HPA..... My brother uses a scott bottle with special made adaptor so he can use any tank for the firedepartment (hes a member)
