I just got a M203 under rail grenade launcher.... I've read/seen that you can use a nerf missile in it...

Not if you're the one getting hit by that shrapnel.

Aren't we always looking to make this realistic? Just kidding...

I've been shot several times with my sons T9.1 using FS rounds and have never had anything bad happen.  First time I've heard of this..

I've played at a few fields that do allow the FS rounds.  I was allowed as I was running them in my pistol, T8.1, and not in the rifle config.  Each time I was cautioned not to shoot within 30 feet as each had seen more damage, particularly on bare skin, than wit traditional paintballs.  That being said, one of the worst cuts I've seen was with a traditional paintball, not monsterballs as those never even broke, but some generally standard paintball and was a nice open skin wound.  It was just a flesh wound...but didn't stop play.

I've played at fields that have used FS rounds too. I haven't been shot by them but you have to chrono them at like 240 or something.

Btw the way old grenades im talkimg about was a real small powdercharge black powder sourrouneded by paint in a cardboard tube with pull pin im talking early 90s they kicked ass.
Yea an American company developed them and realized that cannot sell them in the US.  So they went to Canada where my Canadian brothers started buying them.  They soon realized the danger of using a paintball grenade that used a .22 cal blank to set it off when thrown. Especially when they did not go off on contact with the ground and if someone tried to pick it up and throw it back and it went off...BOOM - no fingers!  These types were talked about in I gather 2007/2008 here.  The looked like a 'fat' pineapple grenade.

I still have 2 of them. One black and one green. LMAO! They were bad for going off in your hand before you got a chance to throw them as well!!

Just because you have this idea for a paintball product doesn't necessarily mean you should put it into production.
Cheers!
