I find nothing wrong using a micro fiber cloth from the dollar store and plane water. I get great results and no residue.

Extra shoes/sandals and a change of clothes. basically something comfy for the ride home. If its really muddy, take your playing shoes off and put them INSIDE an empty bag of paint (the 500 rd bags fit most cleats/shoes) or bring a trashbag. that way you keep all your muddy dirty stuff separate from the car AND from the rest of your gear.
and a good attitude. always bring that. rain, snow, shine, heat, cold, w.e. You're there to have fun. the people next to you are there to have fun. if you're not in a good mood, sit out a game and wait til everyone comes back smiling and panting and that'll set you straight. there's no point in playing if you're not having an absolute blast.

That's good advise there Bennyt. I had a horrible time a couple weeks ago trying to get my gun to chrono down low enough for the field. I spent an hour almost 2 even trying to do it. I was fed up and wanted to smash my gun right there. but after ever game i saw the people come back, i felt better. By the time the refs just gave me a rental, i felt calm and relaxed. and my first game with that rental I did a total elimination of the other team and i was last man standing. the rest of the night went great.
A good attitude goes a long way.

One product that works great and that doesn't mess with the anti fog coat is glass cleaner made for tinted windows. it will say it on the bottle.

Ya know I over looked playing indoors on turf. I would strongly recommend cleats and a tourney style pant or slider shorts. I have also started using arm guards. Water or Gatorade. Lots of fun in the winter and I'm sure theres more to add for indoor play. Feyd...................

A wealth of info thanks guys, I would have never thought to store my tanks in a cooler as it get rather hot here in middle TN. This thread was great, being a new player and having no field experience this really helped me to be prepared for the game. I overlooked simple things such as a bag to place your muddy paint filled clothes in before ruining my trucks interior or even a change of clothes. Great thread Thanks guys.

I'm just starting out, and this thread is GOLD. Thanks guys.
I've come from playing with RC cars, and one thing I always packed for that day was alcohol and cleaner. Nothing worse than getting nasty crap on your hands BEFORE lunch.
Maybe i'm just a *****

Well I think I need to update this a little. I have as of late, started going to games where I camp at. And this has been the most fun Ive had in years! At each event I have to say paintball took a back seat to the fun had off the field. I want to add, this little tid bit is an update for the big game like Ion or the best game on the planet Pumpers Pandemonium.
First you need a tent, a sleeping bag, your paintball stuff and thats been covered. Now this is stuff you do not need but I highly recommend! An air mattress, the best 30.00$ you will ever spend! A fold-able table. A tail gater grill! This is huge! trust me! Some of those collapsible chairs. A cooler to keep your food and favorite stuff cold! A cowboy hat, this is for the Americans only sorry! A large cup like my Blues Crew cup for adult beverages. Now for stuff you need. Depending on how many nights your staying. Changes of clothes, shirts to play in, socks, toiletry's, A towel, soap, you can always find a hose! A willing attitude to meet new people! This last one is HUGE!!!! Walk around and meet the other crazy people just like you! This year I've seen people with campers, X-mass lights and all kind of food! I myself run a great grill so if you see me at a game come over and try the Chinese's pork! And please, I know theres allot of guys on here that go to allot of games and camp out at so post up and add to the list! Feyd...........................
